Main Program: Program was a presentation of disturbing statistics concerning child abuse by State’s Attorney Davis Ruark of the Child Advocacy Center (started in 1999) introduced by George Whitehead. Wicomico County has disturbingly high child abuse statistics and he, and others, are aggressively pursuing offenders.  Conviction rate is, thankfully, very high but making the decision to convict both parents is very difficult.

50/50 Winners :  $14 each was won by Steve Capelli and Steve Capelli.

P.S. Someone may have picked up Darryl Nixon’s coat by mistake after the meeting. If so, your coat is still at the Scout Cabin and he needs his back. (It’s very cold out!).

Enjoy Rotary!
