Let’s get creative and help Rotary raise money for Easter Seals – a worthy cause indeed! Main Program: Sonya Spery, a member of the GSE Team for Rotary District 7630, gave a terrific program giving her view of what it means to be an ambassador for Rotary and what she hopes to gain from the experience. A native of Salisbury and a Salisbury University graduate, Sonya is community relations coordinator for Coastal Hospice where she spreads the word about the benefits of hospice. During her time in Belgium, she looks forward to immersing herself in the culture, meeting new people, and learning about hospice care in that country. Sonya believes this experience will help shape her career in a powerful way as she and her teammates develop their leadership and public speaking skills and gain a new network of friends. All Rotarians in attendance agreed that we are indeed fortunate to have Sonya represent us on the Group Study Exchange. We look forward to her presenting a program on her experiences when she returns from her journey. 50/50 Winners – Congrats to Art Goetz and Chris Peek, our lucky winners this week!Enjoy Rotary! |
