Announcements:

Pig Pickin – May 30^th at 6:00 at the YMCA.  Tickets are $25 per person – See Ray Matheu (see invitation below). No meeting on May 29^th, since we are having the Pig Pickin’ on May 30^th.  

Shorebirds Night is June 12^th.  Tickets are $30 per person - See Bill Potts.

Bring canned goods to all meetings in May.  We are making a donation to Md. Food Bank

Main Program: 

John Cannon, Pres. of the Wicomico County Council, brought us up to date on the current budget and the financial challenges facing the County.  As a result of the Revenue Cap, our property tax rates will be going down .067 this year, the largest decrease in the State of Maryland.
