      • Don Hackett needed Rotary participation for an excellent  program delivered by Marie Allen to all of our 8th grade students in the area regarding Drug Awareness and “Dope Help”. Marie is the mother of a student who died from drug abuse.

Main Program: Sister Cities.  Gary mackes introduced Carolyn Hall who covered the marvelous experience she and other Rotarians had in Salisbury, England. George Whitehead covered the activities from Salisbury University with Salisbury, England, Tartu, Estonia and Dalian, China and he introduced Derek Wu who is currently a junior at James M. Bennett high school who did an excellent job at helping us understand more about Dalian, China and how similar it is to Salisbury (port city, coastal area, county seat, etc.) even though it is quite a bit larger than our city.
