Bob Brown reported our club has raised over $8000 for the Romania Project

Mike Bloxom reported our club gave over $9000 in scholarships last week

Henry Vinyard reported on the successful “Dope Help” Program sponsored by the Rotary Clubs

Chuck Whitmore’s daughter Susan will be the Program June 5th.  Susan is in charge of health care for the American Embassy in Katmandu, Nepal.

Chuck Whitmore is looking for a couple of volunteers to play the piano each Thursday night next year.

Main Program:  Jim Caldwell, director of Public Works of Salisbury brought us up to date on the public works challenges and projects currently underway in Salisbury.  They have 115 miles of roadway to maintain, sewer and water pipes, some as old as 80 years, that need replacing and we were reminded how fortunate Salisbury is to have discovered the Paleo Water Channel during Pete Coopers reign as director over 30 years ago.
