President Marion Keenan noted that Rotarians Chris Layton and Wayne Reichard were inadvertently left out of last week’s Cog “Honor Roll” of veterans in attendance.  Thanks to both for their service in the Coast Guard and Air Force, respectively .

Committee Reports:  Steve Capelli announced the proposal of Dr. Marc Forno for membership; when inducted, he will be the fifth new member for 2007-08!

Seagull Century Fundraiser: Tom Wieland and Dave Downes presented a check for $2100.00 to Ken Matthews from the Christian Shelter.  Way to go Rotary bike team and thanks to all who contributed!

Dictionary Project:     Allen Brown reported that dictionaries will be ready for distribution after Thanksgiving – thanks to all who helped place labels.

Come on Ring That Bell!  Stan Morris needs your help to support one of our favorite organizations, the Salvation Army.  We need bell ringers starting Nov. 26, hourly slots 6-9 pm at J.C. Penney.  Sign up soon – don’t make us come find you!

Program:         Gary Mackes introduced our program and speaker, Sandy Fulton from the Wicomico Tourism office.  Sandy’s background in sales made her a perfect fit for “selling” Wicomico County.  Our local economy is boosted by the many activities hosted here, both at the Civic Center and elsewhere (including the nation’s 10th largest BBQ festival -- sounds like some serious competition for our own resident pit bosses!).  Good reminder of all the fun things going on here which are also good for our community.

50/50 Winners :   Twice $19.00 – Simpson Dunahoo and Tom Lawton.

NO MEETING NEXT WEEK -- HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

       Enjoy Rotary!
