Today’s meeting began with a remembrance of Art Cooley and his family. Art’s son died September 19^th in an auto accident.

Announcements:  Mark Glushakow reminded us to SELL! SELL! SELL! Raffle tickets must be sold by October 18^th. Less than a month to go. Dan Williams won the beer stein.

President Marion announced proposals for four new members have been approved by the Board. They are: Will Dyer, Classification Tree Care; April Clyde, Classification Nursing Executive;  Bob Widdowson, Classification Accountant; Dr. Lombuso Khosa, Classification Fashion Merchandising.  If there are any comments or objections, please contact Secretary Matt Maciarello immediately.

There were numerous guests, including Mark Sewell representing the family of Don Sewell.

Main Program:  Pete Reddish gave out a number of awards to winners in today’s Don Sewell Memorial Golf Tournament held at Green Hill Yacht and Country Club.

Longest drive on 6:  Lewis Young.  Longest drive on 15: Chris Layton.  Closest to pin on 11:  Lewis Young.  Winning team with a 65: Paul Johnston, Dan Williams, Lewis Young. 

Ginny Dulany and Bob Lawrence donated gold dollar ball markers to each player in memory of former President Bill Davis.
