Rotary Club of Salisbury Foundation
The Rotary Club of Salisbury Foundation was incorporated February 15, 2000 and received its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status on August 2, 2000. The foundation was organized broadly for educational and charitable purposes. Its initial purpose is to complete the construction of the Rotary Scout and Community Center on Riverside Drive, and then own and operate the property in pursuit of the club's goals to better serve the surrounding communities. Every member of the Rotary Club of Salisbury is a member of the club's foundation. Six members are elected as trustees and join the club's immediate past president to form a Board of Trustees that is responsible for guiding the affairs of the foundation. The club president is an ex-officio member of the foundation's board.
